Cordillera experienced the early arrival of winter this past week culminating in a winter storm on Sunday night that left six to eight inches of snow throughout the community. Given the time of year, many tress have not dropped their leaves and were damaged by heavy snow left by the storm.
Cordillera Public Safety and Cordillera Community Operations encourage residents to contact their property manager to inspect for damage. Tree debris removal is the responsibility of the property owner. However, to assist owners in debris removal, community operations will collect neatly stacked piles placed alongside the road through next week. Contractors hired to assist with clean up are to take the debris to the dump.
Public safety warns residents that frozen and broken pipes, both in fire sprinkler systems and domestic water lines, account for a large amount of property damage in Cordillera. More information on frozen pipes can be found on the website at www.CordilleraLiving.com.
