Voters are reminded to affix 49 cents postage to their ballots if they choose to return them by mail. If a ballot indicates the voter is required to include a copy of his or her identification, additional postage may be needed.The Eagle County Clerk & Recorder's Office is reminding voters of upcoming election dates:October 30 - Deadline for requesting a ballot to be mailed; anyone registering after Oct. 30 must pick up a ballot in person from one of the three Clerk & Recorder Voter Service and Polling Centers.October 30 to Nov. 6 - Voter Service and Polling Centers open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at all three Clerk & Recorder's Office locations.November 4 - Voter Service and Polling Centers open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Avon, Eagle and El Jebel Clerk & Recorder Offices.The Voter Service and Polling Center located in Vail at the Grand View Room on top of the Lionshead parking structure will be open on Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; November 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; November 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and November 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.November 7 - Election Day. All ballots must be received by the Clerk & Recorder; postmarks do not count. Voter Service and Polling Centers open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all three Clerk & Recorder's office locations and the Grand View Room in Vail. Clerk & Recorder Offices will be closed for non-election services on Election Day.Eligible voters who have resided in the state for at least 22 days, or since October 16, can register to vote up to and including on Election Day.Clerk & Recorder's offices are located in Avon at 100 W. Beaver Creek Blvd., in Eagle at 500 Broadway, and in El Jebel at 0020 Eagle County Dr. The Grand View Room at the Lionshead parking structure is located at 395 S. Frontage Rd W. in Vail.
