Cordillera Equestrian Center Boarding Information

The Cordillera Equestrian Center (CEC) is the only of its kind in the valley. CEC and its staff pride itself in superior horse care. Boarders experience the highest quality care for their horses and the best customer service available. Barn staff, trainers and fellow boarders are knowledgeable, friendly and supportive, creating a strong community. Many disciplines are represented such as hunters, jumpers, dressage, reining, trail and gaited, which creates a diverse environment with a shared love of equines with a common bond of horsemanship.

All of our horses are fed and given a visual inspection by our experienced staff three times a day, every day. Cordillera’s Public Safety takes the night shift and checks on all of the horses two times a night, every night.

CEC has three arenas on the property. There are two heated indoor arenas and one outdoor arena for use in the summer. The three arenas, round pen and trail access ensure that there is always somewhere to ride your horse. All arenas are maintained regularly, with the main indoor arena being maintained daily.

Explore the miles of trails here on Bellyache Ridge or ride to the more secluded Big Park trails, where you can explore millions of acres of National Forest with beautiful views and abundant wildlife.

CEC is a non-profit, public, year-round boarding facility operated by the Cordillera Metropolitan District. All operation and capital improvement expenses are covered by the boarding fees. To ensure consistent pricing throughout the year we require one year leases for all stalls and paddocks. However, short term boarding is available at an increased rate.

The CEC offers full and partial care horse boarding in both stalls and paddocks:
