Lionshead Rock Hike

It’s a beautiful time to be outside! Come join us for a Monday morning hike! Explore the trails of the Vail Valley, all skill levels are welcome.

All Hikes are Monday mornings and times vary depending on how far away they are. Please be courteous to other hikers and be on time. For any questions email Matthew.Weingast@grandmanors.com. Otherwise, no need to RSVP, just show up!

Meet: At the Post Office and we will carpool to the trailhead in Minturn.

Time: 8:30amam. Please be on time, the group will leave promptly at 8:35am.

Distance: ~6 miles out & back

Hike Duration: ~5-6 hours

Lionshead Rock trail is a steady climb following switchbacks through aspen trees ending at the Lionshead Rock overlooking the beautiful town of Minturn and views of Meadow Mountain. This trail is rated moderate.

Please bring the appropriate hiking gear for the day including hiking shoes, hiking poles recommended, sunscreen, rain gear, water and snacks.
