It’s a beautiful time to be outside! Come join us for a Monday morning hike with your pup! Explore the trails of the Vail Valley, all skill levels are welcome.

Meet: Meadow Mountain Trailhead in Minturn

Time: 8:30am. Please be on time, the group will leave promptly at 8:35am.

Distance: 9.4 miles out and back (can be shortened to whatever we choose)

Hike Duration: 1 hour

This is one of the most popular trails in the area, and for good reason! The scenery is amazing along this trail, and you’ll get plenty of great views of the surrounding area as you make way through forest and meadows. At the end of the trail, you’ll find some really interesting ruins of old cabins and homesites. This is a fun trail for hikers of all ages, but the distance and elevation make it fairly challenging.

Experience this 9.4-mile out-and-back trail near Minturn, Colorado. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 51 min to complete. This is a very popular area for cross-country skiing, hiking, and horseback riding, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring. Dogs may be off-leash in some areas.

Please bring the appropriate hiking gear for the day including hiking shoes, hiking poles recommended, sunscreen, rain gear, water and snacks.
