The Cordillera Metro District (CMD) is looking for a dynamic people leader to supervise the team and provide vision and direction for our Community Safety Department. The Community Safety Manager is responsible for completing daily activities
successfully while having the long-term vision to facilitate ongoing improvement and efficiency within a safety department that that operates continuously. This person for this position must embrace leading by example and adhere to high standards when communicating with those on the team and in the Cordillera community.  Beyond having the required leadership skills and experience required of this position, the ideal candidate for this role embraces personal responsibility and accountability while motivating others on the team to achieve a cohesive and positive work environment.

The Community Safety Department performs duties and services to ensure the safety an security of Cordillera residents, visitors and employees. As a team, this department patrols the community 24 hours a day and operates 2  gatehouses controlling access into the community.

The Cordillera Metro District’s Community Operations Department is responsible for maintaining more than 40 miles of paved roads, lighting and signage, road fencing, landscaping, and snow plowing during the winter. CMD’s Equestrian Center offers superior horse boarding and care, horse riding lessons, and clinics.
