CMD Construction Requirements
Construction within the Cordillera Metro District requires the close review and/or completion of the following forms, which may be downloaded or filled out online using the buttons below. These forms will not be processed until after the project has successfully completed technical review through Cordillera Design Review Board (DRB).
- Review the CMD Construction Fee Schedule.
- The Construction Information and Fee Submission Form must be completed and submitted for review.
- The Construction in the District Right-of-Way Permit Application must be filled out on the front, signed on the last page, and returned. There is a $500 processing fee for the permit. Construction in a District Right-of-Way requires a permit and a $10,000 deposit. The deposit is waived for the construction of a new driveway only.
- It is also important to review the Cordillera Rules of the Road document. Property owners and general contractors are responsible for communicating the rules regarding construction and gate access outlined in this document to those working on their property including all project subcontractors and employees.
- An Encroachment Agreement must be signed by the property owner(s), notarized, and sent back to the CMD Admin Office. This is a legal document that runs with the property; it will be recorded at Eagle County. Since the Encroachment Agreement is property-specific, it cannot be downloaded from the website or filled out online; CMD Admin will email a copy of the Encroachment Agreement for signature after we receive notification from the DRB that a technical review has been approved.
Forms and payment may be submitted to the Cordillera Metro District Admin Office at 408 Carterville Road, Edwards, CO 81632.
A check for all fees, permit processing fees, and deposits must be made payable and submitted to the Cordillera
Metro District, along with the required forms, before an on-site pre-construction meeting can be scheduled with the Cordillera compliance officer.
Pre-construction meetings are scheduled through Millie Aldrich at Cordillera DRB by emailing apr@cordillerapoa.com. Millie may be reached by calling the CPOA office at (970) 688-8850.
